It's a Shame About Raisins

It is summer again. I know you know this, but i said it anyway, ok? so i decided that i would be allowed to use this again. actually, i forgot about it until right now. but ill just say that i wanted to update and didnt have time.

I had a thought the other day. i know, again, surprising. and it was this. i sat there, watching a diverse amount of ridiculous, cheesy, love story ish movies.
- The prince and me
- First Daughter
-high school musical

here is what i discovered.

in every movie the hunky main character always lies. In the prince he lies to his "perfect girl" and pretends to be a common fellow. In first daughter, her body guard pretends to be a regular old shmo, just another dude on campus, in high school musical, zach efron tried to fool the audience into thinking he has a semi-decent voice.

Then the love interest (if you will) gets really angry at the lie, runs away, cries, and then realizes what she has lost and forgives mr hunk. how about this. how about the guys tells the truth, she is like hurray you are prince and have a lot of money, or hurray you are my body guard and can protect me and we can have hot "we're not supposed to be together sex",or yay i dont have to listen to you sing and pretend to like it. skip all the crying, and the movie can be like 2 hours shorter.

that is my thought on love stories where the guy lies, she cries, and then they live all happy and jolly at the end. i am sick of it.


christine segil and i got free bowling, large T-shirts, and creepy old men stalkers the other day. it was fun. a drunk guy even tried to sell us his car on the way to serve his DUI!!! life is good.

if only i had breadsticks. if you dont like breadsticks please let me know ASAP so i can come over and kick you.

Wow i have not written in this in a loooong time. Well...yesterday i kept the hostage (dani) company. We made our own ice cream which in the end tasted like literally downing vanilla extract. mmmm. it was really gross. yeaaa. not good. Then we made my sister pick up chipotle burritos for us and we watched Winning London. What an akward movie. It was good anyway. Then we finished the night off by watching Desperate Housewives. Some good times. Oh and i have been asking this question a lot so maybe if a couple people read this they'll answer and make me happy.

How do you know when your close with someone. What is that moment that you know you are really good friends.

Steussy - when you can share with each other and conversation is not just "surface-y"
Me- When you can be in their house and just help yourself to anything and even be in a completely different room than them doing w.e and it feels normal and ok
Segil- When you drink milk at thir house
Danielle- When you can get up and just get yourself food or help yourself to something without even asking
Hummel- When you just feel comfortable with them.

TUESDAY IS GOING TO BE BRUTAL. i have 3 tests that i need to do very well on and essentially only one night to study for them. so basically i am going crazy. and look something like this...

It has been a long time since i updated. But seeing as though the date shows up on the top of entries, you could have probably figured that one out.

Well i was watching Oprah (as everyone should) and she had these amaazing kids on. One 6 year old knew everything about everything political. This girl was amazing. I mean the only thing that i can remember is the capitol of Vermont (montpelier) because it was on that cheerios commercail. And even now, i had to look up how to spell it. There was also a little boy who was an accomplished pianist at age 5 and could play mozart. Then there were these little kid camedians, and a youngin who was an expert in the dino department.

So basically you are probably wondering why i am telling you all (meaning the one person who read this) about this. well i just came to the conclusion that we are all failures. I mean i am an entire decade older than these children, and the most i have accomplished is finding a really good deal on a pair of jeans at abercrombie ( true story. 70 dollar jeans rang up as 20 SCORE).

So lets all get out there and be really awesome and really sweet and do something amazing.


if you fail its ok. you can always pretend you are smart and give BS advice out your ass to a watching public.
and gets lots of money for it.

I have officially decided that my life is just a never ending strand of embarressing moments, one after the other from the time i wake up, until the time i go to sleep. And sometimes, i even embaress myself in dreams. I'd Share all the embaressing things that happened to me today, but i am too embarressed.

Anyone else think today was just WEIRD???

Minh and i went to the gym, first the power went out, then the alarm went off. We decided we didnt mind because with all the loud noise you can talk about all the hot gym guys and point them out without them hearing. Good stuff. Minh also had to get milk. I dont know how this fits into the rest of the story but it was amusing watching minh aka " Minh Phan, Bitch girl. Per. 5" carry two large jugs of milk. You should have been there, you really should have.

Dont you wish you were a dream reader?. If i was, i would interperate all my wierd ass dreams. Cuz they are really starting to get insane. Then i'd figure out whats on my mind, stop thinking about it, and have normal dreams. I personally think the wierd dreams are from the wierd chemical gas in my history class that is making it smell like Literal ASS. No really, i cant take it anymore.

All in all, the only thing the wierd/embaressing events of today lacked was......

As for me, today the un-thinkable happened. Yes folks, while driving home from the gym, in the car next to me is none other than Julie Lynn. If you do not know who julie Lynn is, you are sadly missing out. She is crazy, in a good way. Till this day i do not know if she likes or hates me, but it really makes no difference seeing as though me her and segil had so much damn fun making fun of Mrs. Gray together. Fixing our "stoles" doing crazy dances, playing rock PAAAYYYPPIIIAAAA scissaaas!!!! (big happy face) and playing "lift Julie's hair until she notices" wow good solid memories.


Julie lynn O. If you are out there How have you been? What are the odds of that encounter? cuz i just dont know!!! Probably about as slim as the chance of you ever seeing this.

anyway a couple days ago i decided that its much more rewarding to listen in on other people's conversations then make your own while walking through the school halls. Today i heard
- A very frusterated girl talk trash about her friend
- Someone who "Will get a date to Homecoming cuz im NOT going STAG"
- Someone who got dumped a week before a dance
- Mr. White wears a man- thong

The first 3 are real conversations i heard, but the 4th one is just an assumption made by me, because honestly if anyone wears a man thing, its Mr. White, my history teacher who seems like he wakes up in the morning and says..

" MAN THONG....NICE!!!!!!!!!"

This weekend was Sweet. I think we should have 3 day weekends every weekend. you can really get a lot done. Yesterday Melissa Dani and i did our usual "brownies and Lemonade" snack and then indulged in the visual feast that is Mean Girls. That movie is seriously so good. And people really do not give "glen Coco" enough credit. i mean he did after all get 4 candy grams. Sheesh what a popular guy. Then danielle had to babysit so melissa and I built a house for homeless people.

Actually we watched Mtv, but its the same thing right?

Then Lily came over and we went to the macaroni grill, mainly because we can. We drew all over the table and melissa felt the need to roll "joints"



pretty exciting. Then we came back to my house and decided to obsess over harry potter, which led to a marathon, and then making Harry potter bags/shirts on monday (today).

I would like to take a second to say some thank you's..

Nick Lily and I met some rad hotties, skated our hearts out (to awesome music) and talked to white-y. He was amazing, he could dance sing AND skate, kinda like tom with bikes and music. We also had a MAD snow ball fight, all the little kids attacked nicholas, along with the 8th grade hottttiiieeeessss. One little, rather happy child, consistantly threw snow at lily. Funny stuff. Then we got dollar bread at albertsons and almost got caught by a cop on the way home. We should have been wearing green toe on our hands, then we would have been safe.

So BASICALLY what i am trying to say is a friday without teen meltdown, is no friday at all,

Pretty much ALLLLLL of my teen was melted down and away...

Well today was horrible, and i was hating life. Until, Lily Steussy and Martini went to get ice cream. Yes folks, this is when today, turned EPIC.

So Lily surprised me with the camp soundtrack on TAPE!!! yeaaah. On tape bitches. It was so amazing i laughed for about 30 minutes. yea. Then we got chocolate devotion ice cream from tanner. He's a cutie. Then outside after eating a lot of ice cream i said i felt pregnant and some unsuspecting strangers who over heard ( a nice old lady) now think i am a teen mother, but hey i may as well be since i AM going to teen melt down! (with the cast of camp)

According to the moving lyrics of camp, its NEVER too late to "come out and play the game"

i mean Old uncle taylor was 81 when he rolled his bike across the plains of china!!


yea 81, i bet you feel super lazy now!!! i mean this 81 year old dude rode his BIKE!! all the way across the plains of china, if thats not playing the game, i dont know what is!

Along with that lily also made me a beatles number one hits tape, if you havnt heard, tapes are the new cds.

So the past few days have been a lot of one thing. BIKING. yeah. its amazing and saves the earth from the evils of gasoline. On monday was my first time out on the open road with a bike. I went with nick to jamba juice, and Rb and to lilys and then home. It was a pretty intense first day, but awesome. The second day, rach cooper me nick madz and 2 other guys, including tom (shane) who yes, has time for music and getting sweet air on his bike, damn was he fine (haha) road to rolbertos, then to lilys, then to rach's. Then yesterday, 9 powegians made history. We road all the way to la jolla shores...

ok, so i am shopping in Nordstrom, and i see this purse..




I go over to it and i start telling Segil Steuss and Dani that, like the loser i am, i was watching room raiders. This guy was looking through the room and found that purse. So i was telling them that he was an idiot because he was like, what is this a fanny pack? This thing is huge, why would you need this?

Then out of nowhere this lady comes up to me. She had some kind of accent. And she says "Ooooh i was watching it! he held it up to his waste (she makes holding purse up to waste motion) and he said oh a fanny pack"

So out of my surprise that someone else had been sitting on their ass watching Mtv at the same moment i was we start discussing how stupid it was. And how dumb and lame he was for not picking her because he is a dumbass and doesnt know whats in style, i mean it was obviously a purse and not a fanny pack, boy he must have felt stupid later.

The reason for this entry (and there is a reason) is to say that it is crazy the the whole world can only connect through dumbass shows such as Room Raiders. That really knocked me out.

Well today Martini Husband Dani Emliy e. and I ventured to the beach. On the way there the tire blew out, so we tanned on the side of the freeway until the tow guy came, and then dani's mom picked us up and took us to the beach. We took a lot of pictures of interesting people, including some guy who pulled over to help cuz he thought that mrs. martin was his neighbor...riiight. When we got there we tanned, ate ice cream, and played in the water. Oh and like any other group of friends, we just HAD to talk to some guy digging through the trash collecting cans, and of course take a pic of him. Yea. good times. Sort of. (i will post these pictures soon) Then i came home showered, and went to the gym and showered again. So BASICALLY i am really clean.

Who invented robes? they are sooo awesome for when you just get out of the shower and dont want to get dressed. I wore one for the first time today and was very delighted. Also i just took an hour cleaning my room in preperation for the cleaning lady. Why do we do this? Why have a cleaning lady if you can just do it yourself. Well HAVE to do it yourself the night before as a matter-o-fact. Its pointless, and tiring. And thats all my thoughts for tonight.
